                                          I wrote this because of the economy.  

   Why I’m proud of my country                   

I’m proud to be an American but I’m not at the same time so I’m not sure what to say so I’m telling you pros and cons.

I don’t know much about the economy and I don’t need to know that it’s in bad shape. Every day I hear or read something about the economy in bad shape or how gas prices are so high. Some places sell gas 4.09 a gallon. The cause of high gas prices the economy. With the high gas prices people will start buying electric cars. Then the government will start losing money. Most our taxes are used on our military now and past.

I love my country because we are free. We are a peaceful country not starting wars but finishing them. We are a wealthy country so we get paid back for what we do. We have many sports like football, baseball, soccer, tennis, and much more. Unlike most countries were they have one sport the play mainly and people in other countries watch our sports. We also have the best sporting events like the U.S. Open, Super bowl, and the World Series. That’s why I love my country and love to live here.

Now you know why I love and dislike my country. Overall I love this great country but it’s rough around the edges. Like with the economy and taxes that’s what’s rough. We are the only country that is truly free and we have the best sports in the world. I have decided that overall I love my country more than I dislike it that is my final decision. I love my country so should you. I will never leave this wonderful country because it is the best country in the world.

The Playoffs N.L.

Authors Note:

     The Brewers will be 2011 World Series winners. The brewers are going to be the under dogs. They will have the least playoff experience. The brewers have had trouble with the Phillies. The Cardinals will beat the Phillies though. The D-Backs are as good as done.

      The records against the First round competitors. The Cardinals went 3 and 1 against the Phillies. So I’m hoping the Cardinals win. The Brewers went 2 and 2 against their 1^st round competitors the Diamond-Backs. All the teams have had great seasons so it’s a mystery who will win. In the next four paragraphs I will explain who will win and why.

       Why will the Brewers win the World Series you ask, I’ll tell you. The Brewers are coming into the post season hot winning 2 out of 3 with the pirates and a September record of 15-10 with a season record of 96-66. A home record of 57-24 and away record of 39-42. Here are the stats of hot brewers. Ryan Braun is batting .324 with11 hits, 8 RBI, 8 runs, 2 HR, 2 SB, and 3 BB. John Axford has 46 saves on the season. In his last ten appearances he was 6 for 6 in SVO with 13 SO, 1 BB, 0 ER, 5 H, 11 IP, and a ERA of 0. 

       The reasons for the D-Backs to win it all. The D-Backs are the surprise playoff team because the division rival Giants won the World Series last year. That’s the past this D-Back team might be the future. With a record of 94-68 a home record of 53-29 and road record of 41-39. The D-Backs best hitter and pitcher coming into the Playoffs.

Justin Upton in the last ten games is coming in with a .212 AVG with 7 hits, 2 RBI, 5 runs, 1 HR, 1 BB, and 0 SB. Ian Kennedy is one of the few 20 game winners with a ERA of 2.19 in his last ten starts with a 8-1 record, 65.2 IP, 54 H, 16 ER, 14 BB, and 64 SO

       The Phillies started the season knowing they would make it with their dominating pitching staff. The Phillies set a franchise record with a season record of 102-60. They’re coming in hot. With ace Roy Haladay starting the first game of the playoffs. Here are Haladay’s states of his last 10 stars. He went 6-2 with an ERA of 2.14 with 63 hits, 16 BB 68 SO, ER of 17, 2 CG, and 71.1 IP. Ryan Howard is the Phillies Star first baseman but was injured the last week of the regular season. Here are his stats of his last 10 games. Howard had 9 H, 1 R, 0 HR, 4RBI, 0 SB, 3 BB, and 7 S0 with a .333 AVG.

       The Cardinals are the biggest surprise clinching a playoff berth on the last day of the season. A season record of 90-72. The cardinals reached the post season dominating in the month of September with a record of 19-8. Pitcher Chris Carpenter ending the season with a complete game shutout. In his last ten starts he went 4-1with a 2.80 ERA with 66 H, 16 BB, 23 ER, 63 SO, and 74 IP. Now power house Albert Pujols, A pure hitter. In his last ten games he had 13 H, 8 R, 1 HR, 4 RBI, 5 SO, 2 SB, and a .283 ERA.

         My conclusion is that The World Series winners will be the brewers. The D-Backs, Cardinals, and the Phillies are all good teams it’s just the brewers are better. That’s my point if you don’t agree well then you don’t agree with me.
