Lord of the Movies

The Lord of the Rings is the best movie and best books I’ve read and seen. I’ve seen all the movies that have come out and I can’t wait for the Hobbit to come out.  I read the Hobbit and 2^nd and 3^rd books. The books have a lot more detail in them then the movies but the movies are still awesome. Lord of the Rings conquest is one of my favorite games too even though it’s old and the graphics aren’t the best. It’s the best movie franchise in history and series of books plus the games are fun to play. I play the games with my friends all the time. My favorite is Lord of the Rings Conquest. My favorite book is The Two Towers and my favorite movie is The Fellowship of the Ring. J.R.R Tolkien is the best author ever and Peter Jackson did a great job at recreating them into movies.The movie were released from 2001 to 2003. The books were written from 1954 to 1955.

Drilling in Alaska

 Authors Note: The beauty of Alaska shouldn't be destroyed.

Picture a beautiful Alaskan winter with fluffy white snow every were. Now picture an Alaskan waste land with drilling equipment every were. Not so beautiful now is it? That’s what it will look like if we let them drill in Alaska. It’s not right. The people of Alaska are getting cheated out of there land and letting them destroy it. That shouldn’t happen to Alaska’s wilderness. Alaska's Congressional delegation has vowed to repeal the 22-year old ban on the export of the state's North Slope oil. If passed, the law would have important ramifications outside Washington, D.C. allowing companies to drill in Alaska's Northern Slope.
