Authors Note: The beauty of Alaska shouldn't be destroyed.
Picture a beautiful Alaskan winter with fluffy white snow every were. Now picture an Alaskan waste land with drilling equipment every were. Not so beautiful now is it? That’s what it will look like if we let them drill in Alaska. It’s not right. The people of Alaska are getting cheated out of there land and letting them destroy it. That shouldn’t happen to Alaska’s wilderness. Alaska's Congressional delegation has vowed to repeal the 22-year old ban on the export of the state's North Slope oil. If passed, the law would have important ramifications outside Washington, D.C. allowing companies to drill in Alaska's Northern Slope.
